Let me first say that I love Tonka trucks, they are very durable, they are easy to use for little ones, and they create tons of imaginative play. I was very unhappy.Įven though my grand son pushes the truck around on the floor with his hand having the arm raised with the remote on the side of the truck makes it all worth while Toys 'R' Us sent an earlier version of the truck that my 4 year old nephew already had. The fire truck was out-of-stock, so I substituted the trash truck. I originally wanted the Tonka Fire Truck, which I had previously purchased for my grandsons. I can't attest to its durability, as he has only had it for a week, but it appears to be very sturdy. It makes several realistic sounds and the fork lift kept him busy for hours. I bought this truck for my 2 year-old grand-nephew for Christmas. The 'dumpster' catches on the truck when you dump it and no way to adjust it. I think you need to send truck that is shown or change your pictures. My grandson wants the one pictured and we keep getting one that does not have the black dial on the side and the two levers on the bottom by door. We currently have different version of the same truck and have enjoyed it thoroughly.
